We listen

We’re here to help you. By calling us, whether you are calling on behalf of yourself or a family member, you’ve taken the first step to recovering from whatever issues you are currently experiencing.

This could be alcohol or drug misuse, prescription medication misuse, stress, anxiety, panic disorder, eating disorders – or addictions to gambling, sex, internet or pornography. It might even be a combination of two or more of these.

We assess

We will ask you some questions, to build up the best possible picture of the situation. The questions could be medical or could be about the current circumstances and situation. It’s important for us to do this so that we can build a clear understanding of the situation that you are facing.

If you can’t answer all the questions exactly, that’s fine, but providing as much as you can helps us to help you.

We advise

We’ll make recommendations on the most appropriate next step for your individual needs. If we feel that your needs would best be met within residential rehab, we will advise you of this and recommend a centre that we believe would best suit you. It might be that you, or your family member, is not yet ready for treatment – or maybe an alternative approach would be more appropriate. Either way, we’ll let you know. The assessment is free of charge and you are under no obligation to proceed.

We listen, we assess, we advise.

We take away the hours and weeks of anguish and searching.
We make all the calls on your behalf.

It’s why we’re here. It’s what we do.

CALL US NOW - WE CARE, WE CAN HELP

Why people call us

Lots of people call us – for lots of different reasons.

They call for themselves, for a family member, for a friend or even a work colleague. Our advice and support relates to the options available for private addiction treatment. Entering private treatment will incur a fee, from the clinic, for the treatment programme. We are not able to refer into NHS services and recommend that you contact your GP if you are looking for NHS services.

Some of the reasons that people call us are shown on the right, and this shows just how diverse our service can be. If you’re not sure whether residential treatment is the right option, just call us. Every situation and every person are different. We can discuss your individual circumstances and give our  assessment, free of charge, from which you can decide the next step.

When calling for a family member, it’s important to understand that the person needs to be willing to accept help. We can help with this – as, sometimes, speaking with a third party can help to bring clarity to a situation that has become the subject of so many family arguments.

If you just want to find out the options – so that you can then discuss with your family member, that’s fine, too.

The important thing is that the cycle will continue to turn until someone takes a step away from it. The most encouraging time is when the person asks for help, asks for support, or even calls us themselves (or with help) as this demonstrates a real commitment to starting the journey of wellness.

Change is not easy – and your family will need support. There’s been a lot to deal with and, often, broken relationships to rebuild, too. Our treatment processes include family members in special family programmes, supporting the recovery process, acknowledging what the family has been through and helping to piece the family unit back together again.
