Treatment in Bristol

Detox

In order to achieve success with your individual treatment, you will need to carry out a detox period initially. This is a closely monitored process with 24 hour support both medically and emotionally, carried out in a peaceful, calming, focussed residential environment.

Individual Treatment Plan

Detox is followed by the individual treatment plan outlined in your initial assessment. It is completely dependent upon your individual needs and varies greatly from person to person. Some benefit from one on one counselling sessions, while others seek solace in creative activities and mood management. A dedicated therapist will work closely with you to identify the course of action that will ensure the greatest success for your personal recovery needs.

Aftercare

We believe that aftercare is as important as the residential treatment itself. Without that continued support many patients may relapse. Priority offers a selection of aftercare options to suit your individual needs including follow-up telephone calls, Skype chats, meetings and, in some cases, top-up residential care.

Family Programme

Family and friends can often be the forgotten victims in the addiction to recovery process. They may be harbouring all kinds of feelings of failure, guilt, regret, anger etc… We believe in helping them, through individual or joint sessions, to understand the nature of addiction and devise ways in which they can best support their loved one going forward. Planning for the future is one of the greatest incentives for recovery and we believe in including your nearest and dearest in that process.

FAQs

Can I have family visits during my treatment?

We encourage family to support you through your treatment and they are welcome to visit during your residential stay. This may be restricted during detox in order to support the focussed, intensive nature of the process and to avoid any undue emotional stresses and strains.

How much does treatment cost?

This varies depending on your choice of centre and treatment plan. Priority charges a weekly fee, similarly to other private medical facilities, which includes residential stay, food and drinks and of course your treatment plan.

Other services are available free of charge for example on the NHS, but long waiting times and unsuitable locations can hinder the recovery process.

Once help is sought we at Priority believe it is vital to identify the correct plan and location for you and get started straight away.
