Treatment in Sheffield

Detox

Recovery in Sheffield will start with an initial detox programme, which will focus on calm and serenity and be fully supported round the clock by one of our caring team.

Programme of Recovery

Your recovery programme can then start, which will be individual to you as agreed with your therapist in your initial assessment. Typically it can include a range of activities such as psychotherapy and mood management, counselling and creative techniques, with equine assisted therapy also an option.

Aftercare

Continued support following the initial hard work of rehabilitation is a very important factor in the recovery process. At Priority we believe in the importance of having support at hand, whether it be over the phone, via Skype or in meetings and follow-up residential stays. Knowing that someone cares and having someone to turn to or a safe haven to escape to can be a huge comfort to many sufferers.

Family Programme

At Priority we believe in helping family members to support you through your recovery. They may also have been suffering the effects of addiction for years and may be left feeling guilty for assisting the addiction, for example by calling into work when the patient was unable to attend, giving money or excusing behaviour to those close to you. This could all contribute to feelings of guilt and remorse and we will counsel loved ones to overcome these feelings, understand the addiction and find practical ways to support patients going forward.

FAQs

Can I have visitors during my stay in Sheffield?

Family visits are encouraged in Sheffield. We believe that family can play a big part in recovery and should be there to support you through this challenging time. This may be curbed slightly during detox simply to allow the patient to focus and achieve their goal in a stress-free environment, away from emotional situations. However, we will give regular updates when requested and with the patient’s permission.

How much does treatment cost at Priority?

At Priority we believe in the success of an immediate and intense start to treatment giving you the best chance of recovery. We do have a weekly fee for our services, which includes food and drinks, a choice of stylish accommodation and a unique treatment plan devised to meet your needs. Some services can be accessed free of charge through the NHS, but may be a long and frustrating process and do not have the same dedicated, individualised focus as Priority’s.

To find out more about the best course of action for you, call us now on 01934 413039 for a free assessment. We’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
