Treatment in Liverpool

Detox

Recovery in Liverpool starts with a detox programme carried out under 24 hour supervision by a dedicated attendant who will support your emotional and medical needs, with the focus being completely on tranquillity and relaxation.

A Treatment Plan for You

The next step will be identifying the correct treatment programme for you. This will vary from centre to centre and patient to patient – our team will support you in identifying the best plan for your needs. Normally this will include one-to-one therapy sessions, psychotherapy, mood management and a range of creative techniques.

Aftercare

At Priority we consider aftercare to be one of the most important components in continued recovery. We offer a supportive and committed aftercare service including one-to-one therapy sessions, group recovery sessions, telephone and Skype support as well as ‘top-up’ residential stays on occasion. That additional support can make the world of difference to recovering patients faced with the prospect of returning to everyday life after a residential stay.

Family Programme

Family and friends can also suffer in the addiction process. An addicted person may unintentionally cause negative feelings amongst family members. At Priority we advise friends and family on overcoming those feelings, understanding the nature of addiction and offer practical advice on supporting recovery and moving forward from the issue with future planning.

FAQs

Can my family visit me during my treatment in Liverpool?

Yes family visits are very welcome during your treatment. This may be limited during detox when we believe patients benefit from focussing completely on achieving their goal. This time is important to the patient and they need to avoid emotional situations. But family are welcome to call in for regular updates which will be given at the patient’s discretion.

How much does treatment in Liverpool cost?

Some service are available free of charge on the NHS but this can be a long and frustrating process. We have found that an immediate start with our intensive treatment process offers the best chance of success. Weekly fees vary from programme to programme and between centres, but include accommodation, food and drinks and of course your treatment plan.
