Treatment in Manchester

Detox

Your time in restorative care in Manchester will start with a period of detox, which will focus on providing a relaxing, soothing cleansing experience with 24 hour support by a dedicated team member.

Programme of rehabilitation

Detox will be closely followed by the commencement of your personalised treatment plan, which will vary between treatment centres and Priority will identify the most suitable course of action with you during your initial assessment. Typically activities can include counselling and psychotherapy, mood management or a range of creative therapies, or even equine assisted psychotherapy.

Aftercare

To ensure the best chance of continued recovery, Priority offers an excellent range of aftercare options to support sufferers through the transition back to everyday life following residential treatment. This can consist of aftercare sessions with one of our specialists, recovery meetings, telephone or Skype sessions and on occasion a follow-up residential stay may be recommended.

It is a great comfort to know that there is someone there to support you and a safe haven to return to during your recovery process. This continued support can help to ensure that patients stay on the right track to recovery.

Family Programme

Loved ones can often suffer the disruptive effects of addiction too. The chances are family and friends will have lived with the condition for a long time and have negative feelings about their role in the addicted person’s behaviour, for example by excusing them or giving them money, they may feel guilty or responsible.
At Priority we are here to help family members with a specialist family programme to support your loved ones in understanding and helping you in your recovery.

FAQs

Are visitors permitted during residential care?
Visits by loved ones are encouraged at Priority. This may be restricted during the detox period to enable focus and the greatest chance of success, however family are welcome to call in for regular updates, which will be given with the patient’s agreement.

What costs are involved in treatment?

As with other private medical packages Priority’s services are subject to a weekly fee. However, we believe in the importance of accessing services straightaway once help is sought and having the choices available to you to tailor the correct treatment plan in order to achieve success in recovery. Some free services through the NHS can be difficult to access and be a long and drawn out process which can greatly hinder the recovery process.

All fees cover food, drinks, accommodation and of course your first class recovery plan.
